Dream Boxes
A little bit of magic in every box.
My Dream Boxes are made from found or recycled materials I have laying around the studio, left over from other projects or random finds in dumpsters.
I took inspiration from some unevenly broken boards I had, at first thinking I'd have to re-saw them, but then began envisioning them as doors to little creature homes.
Each box is custom built to fit these unique doors and lids. A box is universal in its utilitarian sense.
I make a variety of containers for just about any need, from butterfly boxes and keepsake boxes, to boxes for writers, illustrators, candle lovers, trading card enthusiasts, dinner wear, jewelry, etc.

Humble abodes for city dwelling creatures
I often think about the various creatures that inhabit our cities. I spend the mornings listening to the crows call, talking with squirrels that steal from the garden, exploring for spiders with my son, watching for the Monarchs and looking for caterpillars to deliver to my mother-in-law.
There is a lot of life going on all around us, which is why I like to provide housing for those wayward travelers of the greenbelt.
Rent is free if there's a vacancy!
The concept is to install these in neighborhoods in parkway trees, as well as yards, and incorporate solar light fixtures, so that tree-scape villages come to life at night.
